Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) unleashed a profanity-laced tirade at a Fox News Digital reporter who questioned her about an allegation that she had an affair with Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.).
Boebert's Explosive Response
In a video published Sunday by Fox News Digital, the reporter began: "One of his exes is making headlines, saying that you guys—" Boebert immediately cut him off. "Fuck you, first of all!" she shouted. "If you’re gonna bring me into this, like, this sexist stuff is, like, out of control. So there’s your clickbait that you were looking for. I don’t want to talk about anybody’s exes and the crazy shit that they do."
Background of the Allegations
The reporter referenced claims made by former congressional aide Cynthia West, who dated Massie. In a May 19 interview on Laura Loomer's podcast "Loomer Unleashed," West alleged Massie "bragged" about a sexual encounter with Boebert following the death of his first wife, Rhonda Howard Massie, in June 2024. West did not specify if the alleged encounter occurred during Massie's current marriage to Carolyn Moffa, whom he married in October 2025.
Offices for Boebert and Massie did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Boebert's outburst came after she was asked about Massie filing paperwork to campaign for his House seat in 2028, following his loss in the Republican primary to challenger Ed Gallrein, backed by President Donald Trump. "He filed for something," Boebert said. "He didn’t specify what, and I don’t know if he’s going to move forward with that or not. I don’t know. Hopefully he leaves here and makes some money."
