Key issues include permitting delays, infrastructure costs, and zoning regulations. The councillor noted that regular meetings and a task force could be established to facilitate better cooperation.
The Construction Association represents over 700 member companies and has been vocal about the need for streamlined processes. The city is expected to respond formally in the coming weeks.
