Three Youths Charged in Stittsville Assault

Three youths are facing a combined total of 19 criminal charges in connection with a May 8 assault in Stittsville, the Ottawa Police Service has announced.

Incident Details

At about 9:30 p.m. on May 8, police officers responded to reports of an assault in progress in the 1200 block of Stittsville Main Street. There they located three victims, also under the age of 18, who were then transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Charges Filed

A May 28 news release said the charges against the suspects — all three under the age of 18 — included weapons and assault offences.

The next day, police issued a request for assistance from any members of the public who had seen or taken video of the incident.

Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to contact them.
