Cavaliers troll Drake after Game 7 win over Raptors

The Cleveland Cavaliers poured salt on the so-called Iceman after Sunday night's Game 7 win over the Toronto Raptors, trolling rapper Drake both in the arena and on social media.

Cavs play diss track and post memes

As time wound down in the Cavs' 114-102 victory, Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us, a Grammy-winning diss track aimed at Drake, was played at Rocket Arena to the delight of home fans. After the game, the team posted an image of an ice sculpture Drake had installed at Bond St. and Dundas St. in Toronto last month to promote his upcoming album Iceman, due May 15. The post was captioned "Defrosted" with a Cavaliers 'W' in the center. The image read: "Internal Findings: Cavs W Detected in Core. Final Conclusion: Cavs in 7."

The Cavs social media team later posted a clip of the CN Tower with images of their star players circling its top ring, captioned "Turned the 6 upside down."

Drake's role as Raptors global ambassador

Drake, who serves as the Raptors' global ambassador, has often sat courtside supporting the team. However, during the first-round series against the Cavs, he was criticized for using his prime seats as a promotional tool, giving them a "frozen" appearance instead of attending himself.

Fire department melts ice sculpture

Drake also faced backlash for the ice block stunt after firefighters were called to hose down the 25-foot sculpture. Toronto Fire Services Chief Jim Jessop said there were "dangerous and unsafe activities" as large crowds gathered to melt the ice using flammable liquids and open flames. "As Toronto's Fire Chief, my top priority is keeping Torontonians safe," Jessop said, adding that measures under the Fire Protection and Prevention Act were initiated to mitigate public safety risks.
