Flames Sign Stockselius to Three-Year Entry-Level Deal

The Calgary Flames have signed forward Theo Stockselius to a three-year entry-level contract, General Manager Craig Conroy announced on Monday. The deal, which begins with the 2026-27 season, will see Stockselius earn an average annual value of $950,000 at the NHL level.

Player Profile

Stockselius, 20, spent the 2025-26 season with the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks, where he recorded 18 goals and 24 assists for 42 points in 38 games. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound forward was originally drafted by the Flames in the fourth round, 112th overall, in the 2024 NHL Draft.

Development Path

"Theo is a skilled, two-way forward who has developed well in the collegiate system," Conroy said. "We believe he has the potential to contribute at the professional level and look forward to his continued growth within our organization." Stockselius is expected to compete for a roster spot during training camp this fall.
