With one game remaining in the six-team round-robin portion of the Canadian under-18 male hockey championship, Regina holds a 3-0-1 record. They have already secured a berth among the top four finishers, qualifying for Saturday's semifinals. The winners of those semifinal games will advance to Sunday's Telus Cup final. Regina is scheduled to face the Okanagan Rockets on Friday morning.

The Pat Canadians held a commanding 5-2 lead early in the third period before allowing three unanswered goals.
