MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRA: 89N) has announced the engagement of GLJ Ltd., a globally recognized energy consulting firm based in Calgary, to advance the commercial evaluation of the Lawson Natural Hydrogen system near Central Butte, Saskatchewan. This decision follows recent 3D seismic results that have significantly expanded the interpreted scale of the project.
Transformational 3D Seismic Results
The 3D seismic survey highlighted the potential for multiple producing wells within the 28 sq. km Lawson Complex, part of the broader 475-km Genesis Trend. Additional prospects, including Lawson Southwest approximately 12 km from the original discovery, have also been identified. MAX Power continues to review these robust results, which underscore the project's scale.
GLJ's Role in Resource Assessment
As a leader in subsurface resource assessment and reservoir engineering, GLJ will focus on modeling and estimating the resource potential and near-term commercial development prospects of the Lawson Complex. Their expertise will also help optimize the upcoming expanded drill program targeting commercial deposits of both Natural Hydrogen and Helium.
Independent Evaluation to Highest Standards
By engaging GLJ Ltd., MAX Power ensures that Canada's first-ever Natural Hydrogen subsurface system is independently evaluated to the highest industry standards. This marks a critical step from system confirmation to commercial evaluation.
Support for MAXX LEMI Platform
GLJ will also assist in the development of MAXX LEMI, MAX Power's proprietary AI-empowered Large Earth Model Integration Platform. This system combines seismic data, drilling results, structural interpretation, and legacy subsurface datasets into a unique targeting system for discovering Natural Hydrogen deposits.
CEO's Perspective
Mr. Ran Narayanasamy, CEO of MAX Power, commented: "The engagement of GLJ marks an important step in our progression from system confirmation to commercial evaluation. Following the transformational 3D seismic results at Lawson, we are now focused on defining the parameters required for potential development, including scale, deliverability, and economic potential. With GLJ's five decades of expertise in resource evaluation and reservoir engineering, we are accelerating our efforts to position Lawson and Saskatchewan at the forefront of Natural Hydrogen commercialization."
