Drill Program Underway at VR's New Boston Moly-Tungsten-Copper-Silver Project in Nevada
Drill Program Starts at VR's New Boston Project in Nevada

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — VR Resources Limited is pleased to announce that the drill program is underway on its New Boston moly-tungsten-copper-silver porphyry project in Nevada. The company, listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol VRR, aims to test new IP and conductivity geophysical anomalies at the Jeep Mine site.

Drilling Plans and Targets

Plans call for approximately 1,500 metres of drilling in two to three holes. The primary objective is to test areas where IP and conductivity attributes coincide, potentially indicating the center of vein intensity and sulfide density within the large skarn and porphyry system.

The first drill hole is collared in a high-temperature alteration zone featuring quartz-garnet stockwork veining. It will be inclined steeply to the southeast to test coincident geophysical anomalies that plunge across a panel of north-dipping limestone and sheeted monzonite dykes. These dykes contain sheeted and stockwork veins with molybdenum, tungsten, copper, and silver mineralization exposed at the surface.

Analytical Work and Logistics

The program is expected to take approximately two months, with geochemical results following in the summer. State-of-the-art analytical work will be conducted at facilities in nearby Reno, Nevada, leveraging logistical efficiencies from the project's location on Highway 95. Whole-core hyperspectral scanning and high-resolution photography will be performed by TerraCore Geospectral Imaging to document alteration chemistry and mineralogy. Continuous sampling for multi-element ICP-MS geochemistry will be carried out by Paragon Geochemical.

Dr. Michael Gunning, CEO of VR Resources, commented from the site: "We are pleased to have the crew and rig on site at New Boston, and the drill program underway. Our mission is to execute immediately on the stated use of proceeds from our recent financings, in pursuit of near-term value creation potential at the drill bit for our shareholders."

Project Scale and Goals

New Boston features a large-scale skarn and porphyry system extending three to four kilometres. The company's goal is to complete first-pass drilling across the system, building on work started in 2024 at the East Zone. Long intersections of continuous stockwork veining with copper and silver were encountered at East Zone, which the company views as a starting point. The coincidence of IP and conductivity attributes at Jeep Mine is believed to provide a vector to stronger vein intensity and sulfide concentration, potentially yielding a stronger polymetallic intersection including molybdenum and tungsten in addition to copper and silver.
