Foremost Clean Energy Unveils High-Grade Gold Results from 2025 Jean Lake Drill Program
Foremost Clean Energy Reports High-Grade Gold at Jean Lake

Foremost Clean Energy Ltd. (NASDAQ: FMST, CSE: FAT) has released the conclusive assay findings from its 2025 diamond drilling initiative at the wholly owned Jean Lake Gold-Lithium Property, situated near Snow Lake in Manitoba. The program, encompassing 15 drill holes totaling 2,266 metres, has yielded significant high-grade gold intercepts near the surface, underscoring the expansion of the mineralized system along the Valkyrie Gold Trend.

Key Drill Results and Mineralized Expansion

The final assays highlight exceptional gold grades, including 9.4 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold over 2.2 metres from a depth of 48.0 metres in drill hole JL25-010, with an internal interval of 27.9 g/t gold over 0.7 metres. Additionally, drill hole JL25-009 returned 6.2 g/t gold over 2.6 metres from 52.5 metres, featuring a high-grade segment of 31.1 g/t gold over 0.5 metres. These results contribute to defining a near-surface gold system that now spans approximately 600 metres of strike length along and adjacent to the Valkyrie Trend, marking a substantial increase in the scale of this emerging gold corridor.

Detailed Assay Highlights from the 2025 Program

The drilling campaign revealed multiple high-grade zones within broader mineralized envelopes, as detailed below:

  • JL25-006: 2.9 g/t gold over 6.7 metres starting at 169.5 metres, including 32.6 g/t gold over 0.5 metres, and 2.6 g/t gold over 2.5 metres from 36.0 metres, including 6.2 g/t gold over 0.5 metres.
  • JL25-007: 2.6 g/t gold over 5.4 metres from 43.4 metres, including 6.8 g/t gold over 1.8 metres.
  • JL25-009: 6.2 g/t gold over 2.6 metres from 52.5 metres, including 31.1 g/t gold over 0.5 metres; 1.5 g/t gold over 9.1 metres from 15.4 metres, including 9.1 g/t gold over 0.9 metres; and 1.6 g/t gold over 6.7 metres from 30.0 metres, including 9.2 g/t gold over 1.0 metres.
  • JL25-010: 9.4 g/t gold over 2.2 metres from 48.0 metres, including 27.9 g/t gold over 0.7 metres.

Executive Commentary and Future Directions

Jason Barnard, President and CEO of Foremost Clean Energy, emphasized the success of the 2025 drill campaign, stating, "These final results complete a successful 2025 drill campaign and significantly advance our understanding of the Jean Lake property. What began as a high-grade discovery in 2023 has now evolved into a ~600-metre mineralized gold corridor along the Valkyrie Gold Trend, characterized by consistent higher-grade zones within broader mineralized envelopes." He added that mineralization occurs at shallow depths and remains open along strike and at depth, reinforcing confidence in a robust shear zone gold system. The next phase will focus on step-out and infill drilling to expand the corridor and target higher-grade components.

The Valkyrie Trend: Evolution of a Gold Corridor

Gold mineralization at Jean Lake was initially identified in 2023 with discovery hole JL23-008, which returned 7.5 g/t gold over 7.66 metres, including an exceptional 102.0 g/t gold over 0.48 metres. Subsequent drilling in 2025, including holes JL25-001 through JL25-004, expanded the mineralized footprint and confirmed continuity along the Valkyrie Trend, with notable intercepts such as 12.7 g/t gold over 2.07 metres in JL25-001 and 10.7 g/t gold over 5.6 metres in JL25-002.

The latest results from holes JL25-006 through JL25-015 further extend and define gold mineralization, now interpreted to be hosted within a steeply dipping shear zone featuring quartz veining and sericite alteration. The mineralized intercepts typically consist of broad envelopes averaging 1–3 g/t gold, with higher-grade zones exceeding 20–80 g/t gold. This pattern illustrates a robust gold system that remains open for further exploration along strike and at depth, positioning the Valkyrie Trend as a promising gold corridor in Manitoba's mining landscape.
