The driver, who holds a G2 license, was previously stopped for similar offenses in recent months. Police have expressed concern over the repeated dangerous behavior, which poses a significant risk to public safety. The vehicle was impounded, and the driver faces charges under Ontario's stunt driving legislation.

Stunt Driving Laws in Ontario

Under Ontario law, stunt driving includes driving 40 km/h or more over the speed limit on roads with a limit under 80 km/h, or 50 km/h over on roads with a limit of 80 km/h or higher. Penalties include immediate license suspension, vehicle impoundment, and fines up to $10,000.
