Toronto Line 6 Service Suspended After LRT-Vehicle Crash

Service on a portion of Toronto's Line 6 Finch West light rail transit line has been suspended following a collision between an LRT vehicle and another vehicle in North York on Wednesday afternoon.

Collision Details

The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Finch Avenue West and Keele Street. Emergency services responded to the scene, where an LRT train and a car collided. No injuries have been reported, but the cause of the crash is under investigation.

Service Disruption

As a result, shuttle buses are replacing regular service between Finch West Station and the Humber College terminal. Commuters are advised to expect delays and plan alternative routes. The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has deployed additional staff to assist passengers.
