A tragic collision on Highway 17 near Kenora has claimed the life of a teenager from Winnipeg, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, involving a passenger vehicle and a transport truck.

OPP officers responded to the scene on Highway 17, a major route connecting northwestern Ontario to Manitoba. The teenager, whose identity has not been released pending notification of family, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the transport truck was not injured.
