Tennis star Taylor Fritz and influencer Morgan Riddle have ended their nearly six-year relationship, sources confirm. The couple, who began dating in June 2020, have reportedly parted ways, with conflicting reports about who initiated the split.
Instagram Post Hints at Breakup
Riddle, 28, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a series of photos and videos that hinted at the breakup. Among the posts was a picture of her wearing a T-shirt that read "World's Best Ex-Girlfriend." The caption simply asked, "Is this thing on?" Other images included a tearful selfie, packed moving boxes, and a sign from a café that said, "You can cry in here!" She also included a quote from Kim Cattrall's character in Sex and the City: "The ego of a man trapped in the body of a woman."
Relationship Timeline
Fritz and Riddle first started dating in June 2020, and Riddle quickly became a fixture at his tennis matches, often seen in his player box. She embraced the tennis WAG lifestyle and even made a TikTok video vowing to "make tennis cool again." Fritz supported her efforts, saying during a 2022 press conference at Indian Wells, "I think what she did was awesome for our sport. It got a ton of people looking at it."
Fritz's Injury Woes
Fritz, also 28, has been dealing with knee tendinitis since late last year, which has affected his performance on the clay court season. He withdrew from the Monte-Carlo Masters and the Munich Open to recover. It remains uncertain whether he will be ready for the French Open next month.
Neither Fritz nor Riddle has publicly commented on the breakup beyond Riddle's Instagram post. The couple had been together for six years, and their split marks the end of a high-profile relationship in the tennis world.
