Tiffany Haddish Mocks Trump Over World Cup Loss and Hands

Tiffany Haddish, guest-hosting “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Tuesday night, took aim at President Donald Trump over the U.S. soccer team’s World Cup loss to Belgium, mocking his hand size and his controversial intervention with FIFA.

Haddish Blames Trump for U.S. Soccer Defeat

Haddish opened her monologue by joking about the U.S. team’s 4-1 defeat to Belgium on Monday. “We got beat four to one by those freaky little waffle munchers,” she quipped.

She suggested the loss might be linked to Trump’s meddling. The president had called FIFA president Gianni Infantino after U.S. forward Folarin Balogun received a red card and was suspended. The suspension was reversed following the call, angering fans of other teams. Some believe Trump’s intervention motivated Belgium to win.

“People are blaming Donald Trump for the loss after he got FIFA to help Team USA,” Haddish said. “It seems like everything Trump touches dies — which I guess is why his tiny hands are all fucked up.”

Trump’s Hand Size a Longstanding Sensitivity

Trump has long been sensitive about the size of his hands, which are often seen with large bruises he tries to conceal with makeup. The White House has said the bruising is from aspirin use combined with frequent handshaking.

Haddish’s comments drew laughter from the audience, continuing a tradition of late-night hosts mocking the president’s physical appearance.
