American Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is engaged to be married to conservative journalist Brian Glenn, with the couple announcing their plans to start a new chapter together.
A Steakhouse Proposal and Social Media Announcement
The engagement was made public through a post on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. Brian Glenn, the 56-year-old chief White House correspondent for the right-wing channel The Real America's Voice, shared a photograph on Monday, December 15, 2025. The image showed the couple at Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab in Washington, D.C., with Greene displaying her new engagement ring.
"She said 'yes'. ? ," Glenn wrote in his caption. Greene, 51, quickly reposted the photo to her own profile, expressing her joy with the message: "Happily ever after!!! ❤️ I love you @brianglenntv!!!"
A Courtship Forged in Conservative Circles
The relationship between the high-profile conservative figures has been developing since at least 2023. Both Greene and Glenn were previously married and finalized divorces from their former spouses in 2022. Greene was married to Perry Greene for 27 years, and they share three adult children: Lauren, Derek, and Taylor.
In comments to the Daily Mail, Glenn confirmed the couple had been discussing marriage. "This is something we’ve been talking about for a while," he said. "I look forward to this new chapter in both our lives." He also offered a personal perspective on the often-controversial politician in a recent Washington Post profile, stating, "People don’t see the side of Marjorie that I do. When you take her out of politics, she’s sweet. She’s sweet!"
Career Shifts Accompany Personal Milestone
The engagement coincides with significant professional changes for both individuals. Greene announced on November 21 that she will resign from her position as the U.S. Representative for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District on January 5. Following her departure from Congress, she plans to return to Georgia.
In tandem with this move, Brian Glenn has stated he will be leaving his role as a correspondent with Real America's Voice. His career shift aligns with Greene's exit from Washington, D.C., marking a joint transition into their future together.
The congresswoman has recently been in the headlines for her persistent push to release the client list associated with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. Despite initial opposition from former President Donald Trump, legislation was signed on November 19, 2025, ordering the release of the files, which are scheduled to be made public.
