Get ready, Vancouver country music fans. Zach Top, the acclaimed new voice in traditional country, is bringing his Cold Beer & Country Music Tour to the city for a highly anticipated performance.
From Bluegrass to Country Stardom
Hailing from Sunnyside, Washington, Zachary Dirk Top first honed his musical skills performing with his siblings in the contemporary bluegrass band Top String. His career took a pivotal turn in the mid-2000s when he decided to focus on traditional country music.
This strategic shift paid off handsomely. Top secured a publishing deal with Major Bob Music in 2021 and released his debut EP the following year. His momentum continued in 2023 when he signed with the new indie country label Leo33 and dropped the single Sounds Like the Radio, which charted in the Top 20 on the Billboard country airplay chart.
The release of his first full-length album, Cold Beer & Country Music, in April 2024, was quickly followed by a second album, Ain’t In It for My Health, in August. This prolific output and critical acclaim led to a major career milestone in 2025: Top was named the Academy of Country Music Awards New Male Artist of the Year.
