Accessible Media Inc. (AMI), in collaboration with acclaimed filmmakers Ryan Mah and Danny Berish of Black Rhino Creative, is set to launch the seventh season of the Golden Sheaf and Leo Award-nominated series Postcards From. The new season premieres on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on AMI-tv and the streaming platform AMI+.
Journey Across Canada Through the Five Senses
Host Christa Couture embarks on an expansive cross-country adventure, visiting eight distinct Canadian destinations: Halifax, Kingston, Carcross, Richmond, Stratford, Kamloops, Churchill, and Tofino. This season emphasizes a sensory-driven approach to travel, inviting viewers to experience each location through smell, touch, sight, taste, and sound.
Filmmakers Ryan Mah and Danny Berish highlight that Season 7 transcends conventional travel narratives. "In every location, Christa found a personal thread to follow, often in unexpected ways," they explain. "We saw her pushed beyond familiar territory, making new connections and discovering parts of herself through the people she met and the experiences they shared."
Personal Growth and Accessibility at the Forefront
Christa Couture describes the season as a transformative experience that repeatedly challenged her comfort zones. "This season pushed me past my comfort zone again and again, from confronting a fear of the ocean to returning to an abandoned childhood dream," she shares. "It showed me that people and their stories are inextricable from the unique beauty of each corner of this country."
A central theme of the season is the intersection of accessibility and adventure. Couture asserts, "It answered the question, 'Can accessibility and adventure coexist?' with a resounding, yes!" The series aims to demonstrate how travel can be inclusive and enriching for all audiences.
