Arts Club Announces 2026-2027 Theatre Season Lineup

The Arts Club Theatre Company, Western Canada's largest non-profit theatre organization, has officially announced its highly anticipated 2026-2027 season. This 63rd season promises a diverse and exciting lineup of productions, blending hit comedies, family classics, musical favorites, and compelling dramas across its three premier venues.

A Season of Artistic Excellence and Diversity

Artistic director Ashlie Corcoran expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season, highlighting its artistic excellence and conscious eclecticism. "The programming for our 63rd season is filled with artistic excellence and conscious eclecticism that reflect the diversity of Canadian theatre," Corcoran stated. "We are thrilled to present nine Canadian scripts, including two world premieres. Different partnerships this season will enable bringing more work to the stage, creating 150 roles for performers, design and production positions."

The season will feature 15 shows staged at the Stanley BFL Canada Stage, the newly renamed Lindsay Family Stage at Granville Island, and the Olympic Village Stage at the BMO Theatre Centre. Additionally, the company will mount a four-show tour, extending its reach beyond Vancouver.

The 2026-2027 season opens in September, with ticket subscriptions currently on sale and single tickets available starting in June. Key productions include:

Community Commitment and Support

Executive director Peter Cathie White acknowledged the invaluable support from sponsors and donors, particularly noting Don Lindsay and Jennifer MacKenzie. Their contributions have led to the official renaming of the Granville Island Stage to the Lindsay Family Stage at Granville Island.

Corcoran further emphasized the club's dedication to the community, stating, "to our artists, artisans, and craftspeople who bring these productions to all our stages and on tour. We look forward to seeing you at the theatre next season." This commitment underscores the Arts Club's role in fostering local talent and engaging audiences with high-quality theatrical experiences.

With a blend of classic and contemporary works, the Arts Club Theatre Company's 2026-2027 season is poised to captivate theatre-goers and reinforce Vancouver's vibrant cultural landscape.
