By Saturday, a low-pressure system is expected to push into the Edmonton area, bringing showers and cooler temperatures. Rain is likely to persist through Sunday, with daytime highs dropping to around 18°C. The wet pattern may continue into early next week.
“It’s a classic Alberta pattern—a few warm days, then a rainy weekend,” said Josh Classen, CTV News Edmonton meteorologist. “The rain will be welcome for gardens and lawns, but it might put a damper on outdoor plans.”
