The Saskatchewan RCMP is urging drivers to exercise caution after a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 1 near Morse on Friday afternoon. The crash, which involved four vehicles, resulted in injuries described as serious but non-life-threatening.

According to a news release issued at approximately 2:15 p.m., police responded to the accident on the Trans-Canada Highway near Reed Lake. The investigation is ongoing, and multiple injuries have been reported. Two individuals were transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, as confirmed by the RCMP.
Cause of the Crash
The reduced visibility in the area was attributed to high winds disturbing natural salt deposits along the highway. This combination created hazardous driving conditions, leading to the collision.
