A 21-year-old man from Windsor has been arrested and charged following an alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in a local park last weekend. The incident occurred on June 7, when police responded to a disturbance call in the 1300 block of St. Luke Road shortly after 8:30 p.m.

Details of the Incident

According to investigators, the suspect, known to the victim, led the teenager to a secluded area within a nearby park. There, he allegedly sexually assaulted her. When the girl asked him to stop, the suspect struck her in the face, police said.

Victim Hospitalized

The 15-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. Her current condition has not been disclosed.

Officers located and apprehended the suspect a short distance from the scene shortly after 9 p.m. The 21-year-old man is now facing multiple charges, including:

  • Assault
