A Durham Regional Police constable-in-training has died and another recruit is in life-threatening condition after a collision on July 7, 2026, near the Ontario Police College in Aylmer, Ontario. The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. on Highway 3, according to Ontario Provincial Police.

The two recruits were traveling in a marked Durham police vehicle when it collided with another vehicle.
