Location Linked to Previous Extortion Incident

While police have not released the exact address, videos posted online by Omni TV reporter Sarbraj Singh Kahlon indicate the shooting occurred in the same complex as Radio Swift 1200 AM. The South Asian radio station was previously targeted by extortionists in September 2025, after hosts discussed extortion plaguing local businesses. During that incident, several shots were fired into the studio, but no one was present and no injuries occurred.

The complex also houses other businesses, including a printing shop and insurance brokers.

Investigation Ongoing

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the IHIT information line at 1-877-551-4448 or email ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca. The investigation remains active, and further details are expected to be released as they become available.
