Police search for Daniel Dunn in Scarborough stabbing

Toronto police are searching for 34-year-old Daniel Dunn in connection with a stabbing in Scarborough that occurred on June 21. Dunn is wanted for aggravated assault, according to a news release issued Friday.

Incident details

The stabbing took place in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Kingston Road. Officers responded to a call at approximately 8:30 p.m. on June 21 and found a victim with stab wounds. The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.

Police have not released a motive for the attack. Investigators believe Dunn may be armed and dangerous, and urge the public not to approach him.

Suspect description

Daniel Dunn is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build, short brown hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and dark pants. Police have released a photo of Dunn and ask anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.

“We are asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of Daniel Dunn to contact police immediately,” said Toronto Police Service spokesperson Constable Laura Brabant. “This individual is considered dangerous and should not be approached.”
