The Windsor Police Service is marking the solemn 20-year anniversary of the death of Constable John Atkinson, who was killed in the line of duty. The department held a memorial ceremony to honor his sacrifice and reflect on his legacy of service.
Remembering Constable Atkinson
Constable Atkinson died on May 5, 2006, while responding to a call. He was 35 years old and had served with the Windsor Police Service for over a decade. His death deeply affected the community and the law enforcement family.
