Police Respond to Suspicious Circumstance
Officers were called to a hotel located on the 32100 block of Marshall Road just before noon on Thursday, January 15, 2026. The initial report was for a "suspicious circumstance." Upon arrival, police discovered an incident had occurred inside one of the hotel rooms.
After a preliminary examination of the scene, evidence confirmed the death was a homicide. Sgt. Paul Walker of the Abbotsford Police Department provided this update in an official news release, though few other specific details about the victim or the circumstances were immediately disclosed.
Arrest Made, Investigation Transferred to IHIT
