In a separate overnight incident in the Greater Toronto Area, York Regional Police are investigating a shooting in Vaughan. Authorities say two masked suspects fired multiple shots at a parked vehicle and smashed its windows at a residence near Madeira Avenue and Genoa Road.
Police reported no injuries from that incident. One suspect is described as heavy-set and was wearing a black hat and a dark coat. The investigation into that shooting is ongoing.
