OPP Appeals for Public Assistance in Serious Collision Investigation
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have launched a public appeal for information following a severe single-vehicle collision that left a driver with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred on County Road 42 near the Westport area, a community situated just over 100 kilometres southwest of Ottawa.
Timeline and Location of the Crash
According to authorities, the crash took place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.. The precise location was in the vicinity of Mon-O-Kel Road. The OPP confirmed these details in a social media post released on Tuesday, November 18, as they intensified their investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident.
Driver's Condition and Police Plea
The driver involved has been identified as a 37-year-old individual from Godfrey. As of Tuesday, the driver remained hospitalized in serious condition, fighting for their life. In an effort to piece together the events that led to this tragic outcome, the OPP is urging anyone with information to come forward.
