Separate Sexual Assault Charges Filed

In an unrelated case, Toronto Police have arrested and charged a 31-year-old Toronto man with multiple serious offences. John Edward Kikiantonis was taken into custody on Thursday, April 2, 2026, following an investigation by the human trafficking enforcement unit.

The investigation began in March after the accused allegedly contacted an underage female victim through an online advertisement. Police report that the victim went to the accused's residence, where there was an alleged exchange of cash for sexual services.

During the encounter, the accused allegedly assaulted and sexually assaulted the victim while preventing her from leaving. The victim eventually escaped but reported that her belongings had been stolen during the incident.

Kikiantonis faces numerous charges including forcible confinement, sexual assault with choking, sexual assault causing bodily harm, robbery with violence, and two counts each of obtaining sexual services for consideration from a person under 18 years and trafficking in a schedule I substance.
