Disappearance and Search

Kelly was last seen at the Hillsborough Hospital in Charlottetown on Monday, June 21, around 8:30 p.m. AT. Staff reported his absence the following morning, prompting a search by local authorities. Police initially issued a public appeal for information, describing Kelly as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Investigators believe Kelly may have traveled to mainland Nova Scotia. The search extended to Halifax, where he was eventually found unharmed. Police did not disclose the circumstances of his departure or how he reached Halifax.
