Three men are wanted following a robbery at a downtown Toronto hotel on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The incident occurred in the Financial District near Bay Street and Adelaide Street West.

Details of the Robbery

Toronto Police responded at 4:30 a.m. to reports of a robbery. According to police, the victim was waiting in line to check into a hotel when a verbal altercation with three suspects escalated into a physical assault. During the assault, the suspects stole the victim's personal property and fled the scene.

The suspects are described as being between 28 and 35 years old. Images of the trio have been released by investigators.

  • Suspect 1: Medium build, short black spiky hair, short black beard, medium to long beard. Wearing a black puffy jacket with "SUPREME" in white on the chest, a black T-shirt with a red AMIRI logo on the left breast and back, and blue jeans.
  • Suspect 2: Medium build, short black curly hair faded on sides and back, short black beard. Wearing a white T-shirt, black quarter-zip sweater unzipped, black pants, and a stud earring in the right ear.
  • Suspect 3: Thin build, short black beard. Wearing a black T-shirt with "BALENCIAGA" on the chest, a white or grey hoodie unzipped with the hood up, grey faded jeans with rips on both legs, white sneakers, and glasses with thin metallic frames.

Richmond Hill Home Invasion

York Regional Police are seeking four individuals in connection with a violent home invasion in Richmond Hill early Tuesday. Shortly before 4:30 a.m., three suspects forced entry into a residence in the area of Hyde Park and Red Oak Drives by smashing a front window. At least one suspect was carrying a metal object.

The homeowner confronted the suspects and was assaulted, sustaining minor injuries. The trio made no demands and fled, last seen entering a black SUV driven by a fourth suspect.

Two suspects are described as Black males: one wearing a black hoodie and mask, armed with a metal object; the other in a white or grey hoodie. No descriptions are available for the other two.

York Police Warn of Replica Firearms in Games

York Regional Police are warning residents about the dangers of replica firearms used in the "Senior Assassin" game, popular among youth. The game involves students using water guns, gel projectiles, or foam darts to eliminate participants.

Police emphasize that officers respond to weapons calls and must make quick decisions about whether a firearm is real. They caution that police-involved shootings have occurred where the firearm was later determined to be a replica. Parents are strongly encouraged to monitor their children's use of such items.

Sudden Death Investigation in Brampton

Peel Regional Police are investigating the death of a man in Brampton. Officers responded at approximately 8:15 a.m. on April 16 to the area of North Park Drive and Dixie Road for reports of an injured and unconscious man. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
