Driver Charged with Impaired Driving After Ottawa Rollover

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid impaired driving charges against a driver after a vehicle rollover in Ottawa's west end on Saturday. The incident occurred on Highway 7 near Ottawa, where the driver lost control, left the roadway, and rolled into a ditch.

Police responded to the scene and determined that alcohol was a contributing factor. The driver was taken into custody and faces charges related to impaired driving. No other vehicles were involved, and no serious injuries were reported.

The OPP reminds motorists to never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Impaired driving remains a leading cause of preventable deaths on Ontario roads.
