"I didn't think that was fair, and there was also that big gap from when the season ended to playoffs," Murphy explained. "We had a mini training camp, then we're playing games, with no fans. I mean it meant something, everybody was trying, but you can't etch it into a standard NHL playoff experience."

"I don't know if there's a recipe for a good working partnership," Murphy reflected. "It's more having a guy who plays a consistent way, somebody you can read off. If you have a partner who is defensive like you are, you can read off his routes."
