This is the company's first store in Welland, situated in a newly developed commercial area near a major grocer and other retailers. The location serves over 65,000 residents within five kilometers, with limited competition, making it a convenient option for local cannabis consumers.
Calgary Location Details
The Calgary store at 16 MacEwan Drive NW is expected to open on June 26, 2026, pending regulatory approval. Anchoring a new retail node in northwest Calgary, it has no direct cannabis competition in its immediate area and serves more than 60,000 residents within three kilometers. The site benefits from high foot traffic due to nearby amenities like a gas station and convenience store, and its lack of major competitors makes it ideal for High Tide's value-driven discount club model.
