Two Arrested in Windsor Warehouse Break-In, $50K Stolen

Two suspects are facing multiple charges after a break-in at a warehouse near downtown Windsor, where approximately $50,000 in goods, including power tools, were stolen.

Incident Details

Police responded to a facility in the 600 block of University Avenue West on June 1, just after 9 a.m., following a report of a break-in that occurred around 6 a.m. that same day. A neighbour also reported that a Herby Curby garbage bin had been stolen the previous night.

Officers located two suspects in the 500 block of Bruce Avenue, who were allegedly in possession of the stolen garbage bin and other property taken during the warehouse break-in. Police also found break-and-enter tools during a search of one suspect, which constituted a breach of a condition from a previous release order.
