Massage Therapist Charged with Assaulting Teen in Maple Ridge

Maple Ridge RCMP have charged a registered massage therapist with sexually assaulting a teenager during a treatment session. Christian Aquilizan, 39, of Vancouver, faces two counts of sexual assault following an incident at a local massage therapy clinic in December 2025.

Investigation and Charges

Police were contacted in February 2026 about the alleged assault. An investigation was launched, leading to Aquilizan's arrest. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 8, 2026.

According to an RCMP spokesperson, investigators believe there may be other individuals with relevant information who have not yet come forward. The spokesperson urged anyone with details to contact Maple Ridge RCMP at 604-463-6251.

Public Appeal

The RCMP emphasized that the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed or experienced similar incidents to contact them. The charges have not been proven in court.
