A Canmore man says he 'could not sleep' after winning $123,977 on the Feb. 14 Lotto 6-49 draw. Donald Keller, a resident of Canmore, Alberta, was shocked to discover he had won the lottery prize.
According to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (CWLC), Keller matched all six numbers on his ticket to claim the substantial prize. The winning numbers were drawn on Valentine's Day, adding an extra layer of excitement for the lucky winner.
In a statement, Keller expressed his disbelief and joy. 'I could not sleep after I found out. It was just surreal,' he said. He plans to use the winnings to pay off some bills and perhaps take a vacation.
The lottery win comes as a welcome surprise for Keller, who says he plays the lottery occasionally. He purchased his winning ticket at a local retailer in Canmore.
