Police in northern Alberta are investigating a fatal incident in which a man was run over and killed by his own vehicle after it was stolen from a gas station in Peace River.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was at a gas station on April 23, 2026, when a suspect allegedly stole his van and ran over him, causing fatal injuries. The RCMP responded to the scene and have launched an investigation into the homicide.
