A man was seriously injured in a stabbing that occurred outside an apartment building in Scarborough on Thursday evening, Toronto police said.
Incident Details
Emergency crews were called to the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Kingston Road around 5:25 p.m. for reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived to find a man suffering from serious injuries. He was rushed to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition, but later upgraded to serious but stable.
Police have not released any suspect information or details about a possible motive. The investigation is ongoing.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage from the area to come forward. The stabbing is the latest violent incident in Scarborough this year.
