A pedestrian is in life-threatening condition after being struck by a driver in Etobicoke on Tuesday morning, prompting the closure of westbound Dundas Street for the investigation.
Toronto police responded to the scene near Dundas Street West and Shaver Avenue just before 8 a.m. The victim was transported to a trauma centre with critical injuries. The driver remained at the scene, police confirmed.
Westbound Dundas Street is closed between Kipling Avenue and Shaver Avenue while investigators reconstruct the collision. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
