Police are investigating a shooting at a shopping mall in suburban Detroit that left multiple people injured. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon at the Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, a city about 20 miles north of downtown Detroit.

Sterling Heights Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 2:30 p.m. local time. Officers arrived to find several victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
