Throughout her tenure, Schofield worked to promote reconciliation, cultural understanding, and youth empowerment. She was known for her warmth, dedication, and commitment to public service. Premier Scott Moe expressed condolences, stating, 'Vaughn Solomon Schofield was a trailblazer and a role model for all Saskatchewan residents. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched.'
