A 70-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained in a serious two-vehicle collision in Russell Township over the weekend. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) confirmed the fatality following the crash, which occurred on Saturday afternoon.
Details of the Fatal Collision
The collision involved a sport utility vehicle and a sedan and took place near the intersection of North Russell Road and Route 200. Emergency crews from the Russell County OPP detachment rushed to the scene following reports of the crash.
Despite life-saving efforts, the woman, whose identity has not been publicly released, was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital. Authorities have confirmed that no other injuries were reported from the incident.
