Cop, 2 Teens Hospitalized After Crash; Rebel Fire Arson

Toronto Police report that an officer and two teenagers were taken to hospital after a police cruiser collided with another vehicle on Tuesday morning around 10:15 a.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of Albion Road and Kipling Avenue, which was closed in all directions for investigation.

Crash Details

The officer and a 16-year-old female passenger from the other car sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital. The 19-year-old male driver of the other vehicle suffered serious injuries, though all injuries are considered non-life-threatening. Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the collision.

Arson Investigation at Rebel Nightclub

Early Tuesday morning, just after 5 a.m., Toronto Fire responded to a blaze at Rebel nightclub located near Cherry and Polson Streets. Arson is suspected, and the fire was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported. Toronto Fire is investigating the scene alongside police.

A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle at Dundas Street and Islington Avenue on Tuesday morning at 7:53 a.m. The driver remained at the scene, according to Toronto Police. The man was transported on an emergency run.
