A driver struck two pedestrians in Saint-Honoré, Quebec, on Thursday before fleeing the scene, according to provincial police.
The incident occurred in the municipality of Saint-Honoré, located in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region. The Surete du Quebec (SQ) confirmed that the driver intentionally targeted the pedestrians, though the motive remains unclear.
Emergency services responded to the scene, and the two victims were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released details about their condition.
