The City of Windsor has released the list of road closures for the Canada Day parade, scheduled for July 1. The closures will take effect from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
Affected Streets and Timelines
According to city officials, the following streets will be closed: Ouellette Avenue from University Avenue to Wyandotte Street West, and Riverside Drive from Crawford Avenue to Church Street. Additional closures include parts of Pelissier Street and Pitt Street West. Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and use alternate routes.

Transit Windsor has announced detours for several bus routes that normally pass through the parade zone. The city expects increased congestion downtown and recommends arriving early or using public transit.
