Missing 7-Year-Old Boy Sought at Binbrook Conservation Area

Hamilton Police are appealing for public assistance in locating a 7-year-old boy who went missing from Binbrook Conservation Area on Canada Day. Nathanael Selambi was last seen on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at approximately 3 p.m. on the beach near the floating inflatable playground at the conservation area, located at 5050 Harrison Rd. in Binbrook, Ontario.

Description of Nathanael Selambi

Nathanael is described as Black, with a skinny build, standing about 4 feet tall, and having short or shaved hair. In a photo released by police, taken on July 1, he is wearing a white tank top featuring Thomas the Train Engine pictures on the front, green shorts with a small orange logo above the left knee, and green swim goggles.

In a news release on Thursday, police stated they “are appealing to members of the public who may have seen Nathanael in order to assist police with the ongoing search of the Binbrook Conservation Area.” Anyone with information is asked to contact the Division 30 Staff Sergeant at 905-546-3886.
