Police in Fort McMurray are seeking the public's assistance to reunite a set of cremated ashes with the family of the deceased. The ashes were found in the city, and authorities are now working to identify the remains and locate relatives.

The ashes were discovered by a member of the public and turned over to the Fort McMurray Police Service. According to a police spokesperson, the ashes are contained in a sealed container and are being held securely at the police station.
