LaSalle Consults Residents on Vollmer Complex Expansion

The Town of LaSalle is moving forward with plans to expand the Vollmer Complex, a key recreational facility in the community. Officials announced that residents will be consulted on the proposed expansion, which aims to enhance amenities and meet growing demand.

Public Input Sought

LaSalle Mayor Crystal Meloche emphasized the importance of community feedback. “We want to hear from residents about what they envision for the Vollmer Complex,” she said. The town will host open houses and online surveys to gather ideas on potential features such as new sports fields, indoor spaces, and improved accessibility.

The Vollmer Complex currently includes an arena, pool, and fitness center. The expansion could add multi-purpose rooms, additional ice surfaces, and outdoor recreation areas. The project is part of LaSalle’s long-term recreation master plan.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the consultation process, which begins in May. Feedback will help shape the final design and budget. The town expects to present a draft plan to council later this year.
